Do you have an innovative low-carbon project idea that could help shape Wales’ industrial future?

As part of this year’s EmpowerCymru, Net Zero Industry Wales is launching ‘Pitch Perfect: Get Investment-ready’ – an opportunity for three organisations to pitch live on stage to a panel of industry experts and investors.

Receive practical feedback, valuable industry insight and tailored guidance to help strengthen your proposition and prepare for the next stage of your project’s journey.

Whether you’re developing a new innovation, scaling an existing solution, or looking to raise your profile, this is your chance to showcase your work, connect with decision-makers and gain expert advice to help move your project forward.

While financial investment cannot be guaranteed, outstanding ideas may generate interest from investors or lead to valuable follow-up conversations and partnerships.

How to apply

Your project must focus in some way on industrial decarbonisation, materials/energy security, low-carbon solutions within industry, energy, or a related field.

To enter, submit a document of no more than two pages including:

  • The name of the organisation, and details for a key contact we can reach if the pitch is selected
  • A brief summary, outlining key aspects, progress made to date, and ambitions for the future
  • The type/value of investment being sought (where possible)
  • Where appropriate, TRL and market-readiness (this session is open to projects at all stages, but those that are more advanced may be more likely to be chosen)

Those pitches that are chosen will be the ones that display a high level of quality, innovation, and potential.

Following the application process, three finalists will be invited to present their projects live at EmpowerCymru on Tuesday 29 September at Techniquest in Cardiff Bay.
