Dragon is a standalone business jointly financed by two industry shareholders — Shell UK Ltd (50%) and Ancala LNG Ltd (50%). Its main business is the import, storage, and regasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG) — facilitating the supply of natural gas by converting LNG back to its gaseous state and delivering it to the national grid.Dragon's terminal in Waterston, Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire, can receive up to 96 cargoes per year supplying 10% (in 2022) of the UK’s natural gas demand. This location provides easy access to the North Sea and Atlantic Ocean, making it a convenient entry point for LNG shipments from around the world.Generating 10MW of renewable energy via the 18,500 solar panels in Dragon Energy Park, Dragon employs 100 local direct staff.
