Decarbonisation Pathways

Industrial Decarbonisation Pathways

Net Zero Industry Wales’ industrial decarbonisation pathways — both high and medium investment scenarios, with toggleable technology levers — are available to view below.

These pathways have been informed primarily by our members’ decarbonisation strategies — illustrating 70 per cent of total emissions reductions, the remaining emissions being based on the Climate Change Committee’s (CCC) industrial decarbonisation pathways, which were published in 2020.

Published Decarbonisation Projects in Wales

The two tables below indicate published decarbonisation projects in Wales in relation to the nation’s total emissions, and its total industrial emissions.

If you have a project that you think should be listed and isn’t, please get in touch.

To see a visual representation of this pipeline, you can view our Wales Clean Growth Map here (launching 1 September 2025).

The UK Government’s Clean Energy Map provides additional information on clean energy projects supported by government schemes nationally. View it here.
