Net Zero pathway

In 2020, the CCC published a detailed assessment of the UK’s path to Net Zero in our Sixth Carbon Budget (covering years 2033-2037) report.

In March 2021 Senedd Cymru approved a net zero target for 2050. Wales also has interim targets for 2030 and 2040, and a series of 5-year carbon budgets.
